Facebook App for iPhone, iPad Gets Update

Popular social network Facebook has updated its official App for Apple iOS platform. The new update in the Facebook App includes the much demanded un-friend option that will let you remove people you might have added in haste or those you don't wish to be friends with. Apart from that, users will get to view a Map of the Place they've checked in. Even the News Feed has been improved but there's still no option to hit Like on any comment.

Facebook App for iOS platform hasn't got much visual or cosmetic changes but only feature additions along with bug fixes in the last couple of updates. Even the recent Facebook v3.4 App brings large number of bug fixes for the App. The new nifty additions in this update are:

- Added Map View for Places
- Added the ability to Check in to Events that you're attending
- Added the ability to un-friend from the phone
- Improved News Feed
- Improved notifications UI
