The
wait is over of iPad 2 owners. JailBreakMe 3.0, the browser based
jailbreak, has arrived for the iOS 4.3.3. This version of the jailbreak
includes support for the iPad 2 along with the iPad 1, iPhone 4, iPhone
3GS and iPod touch 3rd and 4th gen.
Jailbreaking your iOS device is really simple. You type the address www.jailbreakme.com in your iPad 2/iPhone 4's web browser. You will be directed to a page from where you can download the Cydia app. Download it by clicking on free and then install just as you would while downloading an app from the app store.
Once the app is downloaded, you just need to choose a mode you would like to use, be it user, hacker or developer. Click on a field and voila! Your done jailbreaking your iOS 4.3.3 device. Now you can enjoy installing custom themes and apps, which you normally wouldn't be able to do.
However, nice as it is to have the option of jailbreaking your iPad 2, the question remains - do you want to, given that Apple's iOS 5 is just around the corner?
